This weekend marks the coronation of King Charles III where he will officially be crowned monarch. On Saturday May 6, a special ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey with thousands of spectators expected to turn out on the streets to catch a glimpse of the King and Queen.

A Coronation Concert will be held in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday, May 7, with acts set to perform including Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That.

Across the weekend Brits are being encouraged to hold street parties and events to celebrate the special event, with an extra Bank Holiday that has been granted on Monday, May 8.
