Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Vasilios Barkas has arrived in Glasgow to complete his £5.5million switch to Celtic.The Greek international is ready to sign a four-year contract with the Scottish champions after a deal was agreed with AEK Athens.Barkas is set to have a medical with a transfer close to announcement.The 26-year-old’s personal package has been deemed acceptable to him and his advisors and, barring any last-minute complications, the Dutch-born star will sign and join Neil Lennon's squad ahead of Sunday’s Premiership opener against Hamilton Accies.Celtic are understood to have thrashed out a deal with AEK which will see them pay an initial fee of £4.5m with potentially £1m more being paid in add-ons over the term of Barkas’ stay.Meanwhile, the Hoops remain.
