Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Vasilios Barkas spotted in Glasgow as Celtic transfer edges closer

Vasilios Barkas has been spotted in Glasgow ahead of his Hoops move. The Greek international is set to complete a £5.5million transfer from AEK Athens this week.And he's been spotted in the city after touching down at Glasgow Airport on Tuesday night.

Barkas was earmarked as Neil Lennon 's ideal replacement for last season's loan keeper Fraser Forster, who has opted to stay at parent club Southampton.

The deal consists of an initial £4.5million with another £1million to be paid to AEK in add-ons. And with his arrival in Scotland it's expected that he'll be announced as Celtic 's new No.1 soon, subject to a successful medical.
