Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

mirror.co.ukA top Tory has sparked fresh confusion over "vaccine passports" after claiming you could need the document to go shopping. Dominic Raab said needing a bit of paper to go to the supermarket "hasn’t been ruled out" and is "under consideration".
That is despite the Vaccines Minister saying just a week ago that a domestic "passport" scheme - allowing Brits who've had the jab access to certain businesses - would be "discriminatory".
Nadhim Zahawi said last week "we’re not" looking at the idea, adding: "Vaccines are not mandated in this country... We yet don’t know what the impact of vaccines on transmission is.
And it would be discriminatory." Yet Foreign Secretary Mr Raab, Boris Johnson's deputy, said the idea was not being ruled out.
