Stanley in Perthshire last week to deliver vaccinations to some hard to reach residents.Around 400 people identified by NHS Tayside as living in remote areas are expected to be vaccinated via trained Scottish Ambulance Service staff operating out of a modified coach.The appointments are made via GP practices.Lochs and Glens Holidays of Gartocharn kindly offered and supplied the bus free of charge.It began last Wednesday, February 3, with a team of five staff members from SAS delivering the first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine to people aged 70 to 79 and also to clinically vulnerable patients.At the same time a car driven by a SAS trained vaccinator visited housebound patients’ homes.The bus and car did more home jag missions on.
