Britain is set to soak in a weekend washout to finally force Cov-idiots indoors, before a 20C sizzler returns to roast the nation next week.
The recent mini 25C heatwave gave way to heavy rain and plummeting temperatures on Friday as a cold front swept in from Spain.
And now the cooler trend is set to continue into the weekend with thunderstorms and showers being forecast tomorrow by BBC Weather.
Temperatures are also set to drop further, with Net Weather predicting it to “feel like” 14C on Saturday in London and 10C in Manchester.
