Tropical Storm Edouard is set to lash Britain with more heavy rain before a heatwave lasting as long as seven days could be on the cards.
The rampaging cyclone is currently churning through the Atlantic Ocean and is set to reach the UK by Thursday on the back of two straight days of showers.

Netweather weather charts show temperatures hitting 26C between next Sunday and July 20 but the forecaster has also indicated 30C is possible.
