As Brits prepare for another surge in temperatures, forecasters are also warning of heavy rain and thunderstorms in the coming days.
London will likely see highs of 22C today as the Easter heat-wave returns, but the Met Office could be set to issue weather warnings for thunderstorms before the end of the week, said a spokesman.
BBC forecaster Carol Kirkwood said thunder will sweep up from the southwest due to the warmer air, which also means much of the UK will see temperatures of around 17 or 18C.
