The UK forecast will be a slight contrast to the warm Bank Holiday weekend weather on Tuesday, however temperatures will start rising from mid-week till the weekend.
Tuesday night will be largely dry with some patchy light rain likely to affect the north and north-west of Scotland past midnight, where it will be mainly cloudy and breezy.
Elsewhere across the UK there will be plenty of long clear spells and it will turn chilly with generally light winds. Wednesday will be a bit warmer, it will continue to bring dry and settled conditions with plenty of sunshine for most.
However, north-west Scotland and the Northern Isles will be mostly cloudy with some patchy light rain, along with brisk winds.
