Brits are set to enjoy a blast of warmth this week with temperatures hotter than Crete before a bank holiday heatwave reaching up to 32C.
Sunny spells and highs of 15C have been predicted for the UK this weekend while the Greek island will see rain and highs of 13C.
But the next few days are only a warm-up for the bank holiday, when a scorching 32C is forecast in parts of England and Wales.
