UK weather: Brits bask in mini-heatwave as beer gardens 'fully booked' across country

There's to be more warm weather today following yesterday's "mini-heatwave" – and Brits have been using the relaxation of lockdown measures to make the most of the sun.

On the second weekend following the easing of Covid restrictions, people have been sunbathing in parks and on beaches, filling outdoor areas of pubs and restaurants, and the high street is busy again after months of hibernation.

Beer gardens up and down the country are fully booked as thirsty Brits try to cram in some sunshine drinking time. The sun will shine across most of the UK, though it will be slightly cooler than yesterday.
