An Uddingston stylist is competing for the crown of Scottish Hairdresser of the Year title at a prestigious award ceremony.Diana Carson from Rainbow Room International in Uddingston is in the running to be named the best stylist in her region, after being shortlisted for the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year title at HJ’s 2024 British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Awards which honour the most exciting talents from across the UK and are the most coveted trophies in hairdressing.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The final round of judging takes place this October and requires finalists to submit four more images, making a complete collection of eight.
