Lee McGregor is gearing up for what he describes as a 'life-changing' chance, fighting on the undercard of the heavyweight rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, in hopes of giving his career a major boost.

The Edinburgh pugilist is up against English fighter Isaac Lowe in a star-studded event set to unfold in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 23.

McGregor, aged 27, suffered his first defeat at the hands of Mexican Erik Robles Ayala last year but has since recovered with knockout wins over Colombian fighters Jorge Moya and Deiner Polo - his latest victory came on his own stomping ground in East Kilbride just this month.

The former British, European, and Commonwealth titleholder McGregor - who previously appeared on the undercard of his friend Josh Taylor's match against Jose Ramirez in May 2021 in Las Vegas, where Taylor clinched the undisputed super-lightweight world championship - is confident about making an impact in Riyadh in a little over two months' time, reports the Daily Record.
