Two British holidaymakers have been found dead in their hotel rooms in Crete. Police discovered the bodies of a 71-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man in their respective hotel rooms in Hersonissos, a popular holiday destination in the Greek island.
They were both found on Wednesday. Police are currently treating the deaths as unrelated, according to Greek media reports. The son of the 71-year-old woman had found her unresponsive in the room of the hotel where they were staying, the Mirror reports.

He was taken to hospital in an ambulance but was said to be dead on arrival. It’s thought that both British nationals have had past health issues, with autopsies currently underway to shed "light" on both cases, Greek cops said.
