Two more men have been charged over the fatal stabbing of Javell Morgan in Moss Side earlier this month. Darius Blackburn, 20, and Deontay Crosfield, 22, both from Huddersfield, were arrested in West Yorkshire over the weekend before appearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today.
This takes the number of men charged with 20-year-old Javell's murder up to four with Jacob Doughty, 21, and Simeon Baptiste, 24, having already appeared at court charged with his murder.
They have all been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday (August 24). Shortly after midnight on Monday, August 15, officers were called to Claremont Road, Moss Side, where Javell was found with critical injuries.
Javell, from Leeds, whose family live between Halifax and Huddersfield, died in hospital after suffering horrific injuries and a murder investigation was launched.
