Jack Brown, 26, and Conor O'Casey, 23, are accused of murdering 59-year-old Leroy Hanley in Rusholme. They both deny murder; an alternative count of manslaughter; and robbery.

Mr Hanley was found by neighbours at his home on Carnforth Street in July, Manchester Crown Court heard. Prosecutors say Mr Brown and Mr O'Casey travelled from a city centre flat they shared to Rusholme just before midnight on July 13.
