Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. Love Island stars Maya Jama and Laura Whitmore are among the names in the mix to take on Holly Willoughby's This Morning job, according to bookmakers.

Holly shocked fans when she announced she'd be stepping down from the ITV show on Tuesday 10 October, telling her followers that her departure was the right thing to do for the sake of "me and my family".

Since Holly's statement, speculation has been rife as to who will fill the mum-of-three's shoes – and the bookies reckon both Maya, who recently rekindled her relationship with Stormzy, and Laura stand a chance.
