Scots TV presenter Storm Huntley is now the bookies' favourite to replace Holly Willoughby on This Morning. The Channel 5 star, 36, has been touted as one of the frontrunners to replace the ITV host for the past week following Holly’s shock announcement that she was stepping down after 14 years.
Holly, 42, was at the helm of the breakfast show alongside co-host Phillip Schofield until his exit from the show earlier this year after admitting to an "unwise but legal" affair with a younger male colleague.
The 42-year-old admitted she made the "heartbreaking" decision in a statement posted on social media to put herself and her family first as is expected to take a break from presenting despite being lined up for a 'golden opportunity' with the BBC.
Since her departure, there has been mounting speculation who could replace her with mum-of-one Storm in the running lead. The Glasgow-born presenter has since responded on Instagram to the mounting speculations.
