BBC Strictly star tipped to take over This Morning as bosses look for Holly replacement

Rylan Clark is said to be making a return to This Morning next week to present the show alongside Josie Gibson. ITV This Morning bosses are thought to be scrambling to find a permanent replacement for Holly Willoughby, 42, who sensationally left the show on October 10.

According to MailOnline, Rylan, 35, who previously presented BBC's Strictly: It Takes Two, will be back on the famous sofa next week for holiday cover, where he will present from Sunday to Thursday.This Morning bosses are said to be 'thrilled' that Rylan is making a return to the show.

Rylan, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2011, guest-hosted This Morning between 2014 and 2019, before leaving the show, however, he returned in the summer of 2022 to present alongside TV bestie Ruth Langsford.

A source said: "Rylan is just so popular with the British public, he is adored. "This Morning bosses are absolutely delighted to have got him back on after such a long break.
