Idrissa Akuna Elba OBE (born 6 September 1972) is an English actor, writer, producer, rapper, singer, songwriter and DJ. He is known for roles including Stringer Bell in the HBO series The Wire, DCI John Luther in the BBC One series Luther, and Nelson Mandela in the biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013). He has been nominated four times for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film, winning one, and was nominated five times for a Primetime Emmy Award.

TV reporter 'suspended' after car crash $1m Adele interview which won't be aired

A TV reporter has allegedly been taken off air after a disastrous $1million interview with Adele which will no longer be aired.

Australian morning show Weekend Sunrise host Matt Doran travelled all the way to London to interview the pop star, 33, about her new album, 30.

However things went wrong when the presenter admitted he had only listened to one song on the album - with Adele's record label Sony then refusing to release the interview. "It was an oversight but not a deliberate snub," he told The Australian newspaper, explaining he'd been emailed a link to the album which he didn't see.
