Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
President Donald Trump is reportedly prepping his inner circle for the departure of Elon Musk.
The 78-year-old President of the United States has told his inner circle, including members of his Cabinet, that the 53-year-old richest man in the world will be stepping back in the coming weeks from his current political role, via Politico.
The president “remains pleased with Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency initiative, but both men have decided in recent days that it will soon be time for Musk to return to his businesses and take on a supporting role,” according to three Trump insiders.
Some Trump administration insiders and outside allies have become “frustrated with his unpredictability” and increasingly view him as a “political liability,” per the report, citing Tuesday’s election (April 1), when a conservative judge Elon supported lost his bid for a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat by 10 points.
