Tributes have been paid to a 'kind-hearted' man after a woman was charged with his murder. Rees Howarth was found in a critical condition after a 'domestic disturbance' on Thorsby Avenue in Hyde on Sunday afternoon (April 23).
The 28-year-old tragically died despite the best efforts of emergency services. Katie Yeomans has been charged with his murder.
The 27-year-old, of Thorsby Avenue, Hyde, has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today. Following his death, Rees' family have now paid tribute to him describing him as having a 'heart of gold'. In a statement issued through GMP, they said he was 'larger than life' and will be missed by all who knew him.
