A DEVOTED mum-of-two who just recently took up a post in the Covid-19 assessment centre at Airdrie health centre has passed away from the virus.Family and colleagues of “selfless and bright” healthcare support worker Kirsty Jones have paid emotional tributes to the 41-year-old, who died yesterday.Workmates revealed Kirsty was “loved by both patients and relatives” throughout her 24-year career with NHS Lanarkshire.Kirsty’s husband Nigel summed up the sentiment expressed by many of her friends, family and colleagues.He said: “Kirsty devoted her life to caring for others.“She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and nurse.“Kirsty was larger than life itself and was a constant source of happiness for all who were around her.“
