The singer says he was staying at the Kingsland Locke Hotel in East London when the incident unfolded on Wednesday. The 51-year-old, who is gearing up for the Healy UK leg of Travis's tour starting in Manchester tonight, admitted that his early-morning craving for beans on toast had set off the fire alarm- forcing all guests to evacuate.
Healy described the mishap as “possibly my most embarrassing moment in recent memory.” He wrote on X, formly known as Twitter: “ I was staying at Kingsland Locke Hotel in Dalston for the last five days before this UK leg of the Travis tour.
The day I was checking out, jet lag woke me at 5am, so I thought I’d make some beans on toast. Burnt the toast and set all the fire alarms off.
