A month long replacement work will be carried out in Salford as part of improvements to the Metrolink. The work at Weaste tram stop is scheduled to take place from Saturday, 1 February until Tuesday, 25 February.

No trams will run between Eccles and MediaCityUK during this time. Trams will continue to operate from Manchester city centre to MediaCityUK as normal.

A bus replacement service will run between the affected stops, however, passengers have been advised travel via the Bee Network buses that call along the route.

The work is part of a planned £147m package to maintain, upgrade and improve the Metrolink network up to 2027. Further track works are planned for various city centre locations later this year.
