Twenty-two years ago in 1998 HBO's Sex and the City hit screens and famously changed TV and paved the way for women to openly talk about sex.
The series was so successful it led to two films, but sadly for fans, a third film was completely axed due to conflict between the original stars of the show.
From its frank discussions of sex, abortion, adultery and relationships, the show followed the lives of four women who each represented different archetypal personalities that people could relate to at the time and very much still do.
For years fans fell in love with Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon).
