Leading owner John Dance has revealed plans to launch a new stable as his racing interests took a U-turn. The businessman, who reduced the number of horses in training last summer, is about to build on his purchase of Manor House Farm and Stud in Middleham.
He secured the facility last November – and has now confirmed Sir Michael Stoute's assistant James Horton takes up the position of on-site trainer.
Alongside the new operation, with thoroughbreds running in the new black and gold silks of Dance and his wife Jess, northern-based handlers will still be supported.
