'Too many uncertainties' to conclude police and ambulance service could have prevented dad-of-four's suicide, coroner says

A coroner told an inquest there were 'too many unknown factors' to conclude that failings by Greater Manchester Police and the North West Ambulance Service led to a dad-of-four's death.

Brian Alex Reynolds, known as Alex, was found dead at his home in Rushmere Drive, Bury, at 8pm on March 9. An inquest at Rochdale Coroners' Court heard that a friend had called 999 about the 39-year-old's welfare almost five hours earlier.
