Fury confirmed his decision to withdraw from the blockbuster bout on Monday, blaming a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib.
Explaining the shock news, Fury released a statement which said: "I am absolutely heartbroken that I have been forced to withdraw from my fight with Jake Paul due to a bacterial chest infection and broken rib."The 22-year-old's absence was met with howls of derision by boxing fans on Twitter, some of whom picked up on what he said to Paul just under a month ago.
