Soucek was adjudged to have elbowed Cottagers striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and was given his marching orders after referee Mike Dean consulted with VAR Lee Mason.
But West Ham have now confirmed the decision has been overturned. A statement on the Hammers' official website read: "On Sunday, West Ham United confirmed that they had submitted notice to The Football Association to appeal the red card.
