Tom Hanks To Write And Narrate Immersive Space Exhibition In London
deadline.comTom Hanks is heading back to space. The two-time Oscar-winner is set to co-write and narrate The Moonwalkers, an immersive art exhibition in London based around the stories of the Apollo space missions.
Hanks will pen the exhibition — which will be mounted at the Lightroom in London’s Kings Cross — with double BAFTA-nominated writer Christopher Riley.
The Moonwalkers will be directed and designed by 59 Productions, the team behind the Lightroom’s recent immersive exhibition David Hockney: Bigger & Closer, based on Hockney’s work.
The 59 Productions team’s previous work also includes Apollo 50: Go for the Moon at the Washington Monument in collaboration with The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, marking fifty years since Apollo 11 touched down.
