Rabbi Matondo limped off during the clash with Motherwell and was replaced by John Souttar - forcing Beale to change his system against Stuart Kettlewell's battling side.
The Welshman looked to have tweaked his knee during the clash and received treatment and after attempting to play on was eventually replaced by the Scotland centre-back.
Asked about the fitness of Matondo at full-time, Beale conceded he could face a lengthy spell due to the injury hammerblow: "Rabbi today, we think that might be a bad one."He's took a blow on the outside of his knee."I need to see it back but when I came in that's the information I was given."Tom Lawrence missed the visit of the Lanarkshire outfit.
