With the Scottish Premiership on hold for the international break Rangers are ramping up their hunt for the next Ibrox manager.
It has been over a week since Michael Beale was shown the door at Ibrox with Steven Davis in interim charge of the club while chief executive James Bisgrove and the board narrow the list of candidates.
Former Monaco and Club Brugge boss Philippe Clement looks to be the frontrunner with talks ongoing between the parties and reports suggesting he will turn down interest from the Saudi Pro League to pursue a move to the Scottish Premiership.
The Belgian is closely followed by Yokohama F Marinos boss Kevin Muscat who has been tipped with a return to Ibrox as manager having lifted both the A-League and J-League titles so far.
