Tino Livramento insists he won’t be rushed into a decision on his international future after Scotland assistant John Carver revealed the Newcastle ace was on Steve Clarke’s radar.The right-back has won rave reviews after breaking into Eddie Howe’s first team after his £40m summer move from Southampton.
And Carver, a former boss at St James’, dubbed the 21-year-old “absolutely outstanding” this week after admitting he was “on the radar, for sure”.Livramento is currently on England U21 duty ahead of Saturday’s trip to face Serbia and has represented the Three Lions at every age group below Lee Carsley’s group.
But with a Scottish mother he is still eligible for Scotland - and willing to bide his time over a decision with Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James all ahead of him in Gareth Southgate’s full England squad.
Livramento, who missed the majority of last season with a knee injury, could also represent Portugal. And he said: “There’s no rush to make any decision.
