Tim Walz Press And Staff Vans Crash On Milwaukee Freeway; Some Injuries Reported
deadline.comPress and staff vans carrying reporters following Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz were involved in a crash on a Milwaukee freeway this afternoon.
A staff member was being checked out for a broken arm, and was being treated by paramedics, according to a pool report. According to the report, the press van slammed into one in front of them, and then was hit from behind.
A couple of reporters had scrapes and bruises, and one female reporter was looking to go to urgent care to be checked out for a possible concussion, according to the report.
Walz and his wife Gwen, and well as Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI) continued with the rest of the motorcade to the grounds of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council’s Laborfest, where they are due for a campaign appearance, according to Matt Smith of WISN News.
