The Canaries dashed Spurs’ last remaining hopes of silverware this season, despite trailing 1-0 heading into the final 15 minutes of their fifth-round tie in north London.
Jan Vertonghen initially opened the scoring for the hosts with a terrific header from Giovani Lo Celso’s free-kick after 13 minutes.
But just as Spurs seemed to have one foot in the quarter-finals, goalkeeper Michel Vorm’s error allowed Josip Drmic to equalise with 12 minutes remaining and send the game to extra-time.
