Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Tiger King star Jeff Lowe has confessed he believes Carole Baskin 'killed' her ex-husband. The owner of The Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, who was formerly Joe Exotic's business partner, made the claim in a brand new episode of the hit series.

Speaking in aftershow episode, The Tiger Kind And I, Jeff gave his reaction to the series, his portrayal and answered fans' lingering questions.

When was asked by comedian Joel McHale whether he believed in the theory that Carole killed Don Lewis and fed him to the tigers, his wife Lauren replied: "Abso-f***ing-lutely." But Jeff insisted what she did to her current husband, Howard Baskin, could be seen as "more disturbing". "There's no question in my mind she did it.
