Three teenagers have tragically lost their lives in a serious crash between a car and a bus in Wales. Two others are critically ill in hospital following the incident on Elwyn Street, in Coedely, Tonyrefail, at around 7pm on Monday, December 11.
South Wales Police confirmed that three young men, two aged 18 and one aged 19, were declared dead at the scene. Two more, also aged 18 and 19, were rushed to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff with life-threatening injuries.
Two other people received treatment for minor injuries. The road remains closed as investigations continue, WalesOnline reports. Trained family liaison officers are supporting the families at what must be an extremely difficult time for them." The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed the incident involved a head-on collision at around 7pm.
