The man, in his 20s, was found knifed near a McDonald's by police. Officers gave him media assistance before he was rushed to hospital where he is fighting for life.
Two other men, who are also both in their 20s, took themselves to hospital to receive treatment for knife wounds, police said.The Mirror reports one of the men had a stab wound to the back and the second had a stab wound to the head.
Officers believe that the stabbing is linked to an earlier incident involving a large group of men on Victoria Street, in the city.
