A woman has sadly died after falling from a multi-storey car park in a city centre.Police were called to concerns for the safety of a woman at a car park, on Mount Vernon Street, near to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital in Liverpool.
Paramedics and officers from Merseyside Police arrived at the scene at around 5pm on Thursday, January 11 and put a cordon in place.Shortly after police arrived the woman fell from the building.
The 29-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Cops told the Liverpool Echo her death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification has not taken place. A post-mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
