Thomas Tuchel has slipped down the list of Manchester United's managerial targets. With the 2024/25 fast season approaching, Erik ten Hag’s future in charge of the Red Devils remains unclear.
Ten Hag enjoyed an FA Cup triumph at the end of an otherwise dreadful campaign, and is now pushing for clarity over his position.
United, meanwhile, have identified several candidates as potential successors to the Dutchman, including Thomas Frank, Mauricio Pochettino, Roberto De Zerbi, Tuchel and Gareth Southgate.
But The Independent reports that Tuchel has now fallen behind the other candidates due to some differences in outlook.
