Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince believes Jarrad Branthwaite has only 'had one good season' and that it's 'tough' to play for the club.
United had an opening bid of £35million for Branthwaite rejected by Everton last Friday (June 14) after reportedly agreeing terms over a move.
The 21-year-old centre half enjoyed a breakthrough year at Goodison playing regularly in the heart of Everton's defence last season.
He also signed a new contract with Everton running until 2027 as well as being voted Everton's Players' Player and Supporters' Young Player of the Season.
