Thomas Tuchel has blamed his side's embarrassing defeat on having to get the bus - as you do. The German manager saw his side get annihilated by Leeds as Chelsea went into halftime 2-0 down thanks to an Edouard Mendy howler that gifted a goal to Brenden Aaronson 33 minutes in before a powerful header from Rodrygo four minutes later doubled the home side's lead.
The second half proved just as bad as Jack Harrison secured the win before Kalidou Koulibaly was given his marching orders in the 84th minute when he was shown a second yellow after pulling Jack Gelhardt back.
After the lacklustre performance, the Blues boss came out and blamed the side's travel arrangements in a bizarre attempt to justify his team's atrocious outing.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: "Everything that can go wrong, did go wrong. It started yesterday. We had no plane to arrive so we came on the bus.
