This Morning theme tune gets makeover after Phillip Schofield exit

This Morning viewers were in for a surprise on Monday as the hit ITV chat show's them tune underwent a new funky remix following Phillip Schofield's exit.

Last month, Phillip, 61, stepped down after 21 years of hosting with immediate effect. Since then, Phillip has resigned from ITV all together and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to an “unwise, but not illegal” affair with a young male colleague on This Morning.

As This Morning adapts to new changes on the show following Phillip's exit, it was revealed that the ITV chat show's theme had undergone a funky remix on Monday.

Upon the opening credits, viewers were met with a dance version of the iconic music with it soon revealed Gok Wan had created the remix.
