Yesterday, former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield was photographed in public for the first time in a month. The 61-year-old ex-ITV star was axed from the channel last month after admitting to having had an affair with a younger co-worker on the set of the much-loved daytime show.

Father-of-two Phillip had arrived in his mother Pat's home county of Cornwall - appearing glum and down-trodden - for a visit believed to be intended to celebrate her birthday.

Clutching his keys, mobile phone and vape in his hands, Phillip was pictured getting out of a vehicle accompanied by a blonde lady.The former Dancing On Ice frontman wore a simple blue tee in the warm weather, which he paired with some white linen shorts and navy Converse.

Joining his mum Pat to celebrate her 87th birthday, Phillip appeared to have caught a tan in the weeks since stepping down from the award-winning lunch-time show, which he used to present with estranged friend Holly Willoughby.
