Phillip Schofield 'relaxed' and 'changed man' on 'first career break in decades'

Phillip Schofield was spotted in public this week for the first time since his bombshell interviews about his shock admission to having an affair with a younger colleague on This Morning.

The former host of the ITV programme stepped down from the show he fronted for more than two decades, as well as all of his commitments at ITV, following his confession he’d had a relationship with the runner while he was still married to wife Stephanie Lowe.Phil denied the affair to colleagues including Holly Willoughby and channel bosses when asked about it.

As we reported yesterday, Phillip was spotted looking glum in Cornwall as he celebrated his mum Pat's 87th birthday. The former This Morning star, who parted ways with his management firm too, was photographed looking down whilst out and about wearing a casual blue T-shirt and white linen shorts.

The 61-year-old was seen clutching his phone, car keys and his vape in the photos obtained by the Mirror as he was spotted in a car park.
