This Morning has been hit by 120 Ofcom complaints, the TV watchdog has confirmed, with 93 relating to an on-air disagreement over the vaccine.
The complaints stemmed from a segment on May 31 featuring guest Beverley Turner, a TV and radio presenter, who spoke out against the coronavirus vaccine on the show.Beverley and Matthew Wright appeared on the show alongside hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, debating the latest in current affairs.
When the conversation turned to the Covid jab, tensions started to rise, as Beverley slammed the vaccine live on the show - only for Dermot to pick apart her argument.
Ofcom confirmed Beverley's comments received 53 complaints, while remarks made by Dermot and Matthew were hit by 27 complaints.
