The couple - who were replaced on the ITV magazine show by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary at the end of last year - will be back on the famous sofa from July in order to cover Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby's slots as the TV duo enjoy time off over the summer holidays.
Ruth - who had starred on the show for 14 years alongside Eamonn - told OK! Magazine : "We’ll be doing seven weeks from July.
I’m looking forward to it." The TV veterans were said to be "blindsided" at being replaced as well as "furious and upset" about the axe when it was revealed by The Mirror.
