Forgive me for not going overboard at Celtic’s seven goal demolition of Dundee. The result and performance was just what Brendan Rodgers and the team needed.
But we’ll find out on Sunday at Tynecastle if this side really have turned a corner and have what it takes to lift the Premiership title again.
The second half at Motherwell and Parkhead the other night was much more like it. The key thing now is to build on it and put a string of performances and wins together to take to Ibrox on April 7.There’s been too many games where Celtic have played in fits and starts and they now need to produce it for 90 minutes.
The only consistent thing about this team this season has been their inconsistency. There’s no doubt the Dundee display was much needed though.
