evoke.ieDuring an emotional hearing in Los Angeles, a judge has ruled that singer Britney Spears will now be able to appoint her own lawyer for her conservatorship case.
This news was very much welcomed by Britney who emotionally pleaded that her father be removed from her conservatorship which has been in place since 2008.
The court also heard that the mother-of-two wants to have her father, Jamie Spears, charged with conservatorship abuse, as she says she ‘was always extremely scared’ of him.
Speaking in court, the pop princess stated: ‘I’m here to get rid of my dad and charge him with conservatorship abuse,’ while adding that she wanted a restraining order granted against him.
